mysomedaylogoA good friend of ours recently started an AH-MAZING website focused solely on setting and accomplishing goals. It’s called mySomeday and its BRILLANT! People ask us all the time how we got our book published. The short answer is that we had a sweet idea, wrote our arsses off, got an agent, found a publisher, and whalah! But before any of that could happen, we set goals.

We wrote down 10 realistic goals, and as we accomplished them each month, we would update the list and write a new set of goals. We kept this list on our refrigerator (okay who are we kidding, it went on our bathroom wall) so we could read it everyday. Writing down our goals and reviewing them everyday was half the battle. The other half is actually doing something to accomplish these tasks.

Olivia and I were lucky because we lived together. We kept each other motivated and moving forward so that we were always doing something that would help lead to accomplishing our ultimate goal. Having a constant cheerleader in each other was a large part of what made us successful. mySomeday is a site dedicated to being your constant cheerleader. Daydreaming about a goal is one thing. Writing your goals down and holding yourself responsible for accomplishing them is another.

If you’ve got goals floating around in that head of yours, we challenge you get off your arse and do something about it. If you need a little bit of help, sign up for mySomeday. Just do it already.
